CB...if you plan on doing any trails with a group. Second, quick disconects. Or vise versa.

Safety and protection first. All the stuff Union Guy mentioned is top priority. Then look at skid plates like oil pan and rockers.

hmmmm as far as protection, i would start searching for rockers and corners. Your underside is pretty well protected. If you have a newer TJ those rear gas tank skids are pretty decent. for what you will be getting into with 31's at least. I would say for 300 bucks start looking for used rockers and corners. Your rockers are going to take the most abuse since you'll be sitting so low. as far as an oil pan skid, that's up to you. I"ve never hit mine, but that doesn't mean it doesnt happen.

I love my power inverter. Whether you prefer this one or a larger one, they are very useful to have around. When I get my TJ replaced this is one of the first things going back in it. $45 from Wal-Mart ... picked one up today actually.

Skids! You have to protect it or you'll be walking home.

buy a REBB and all you will need is to save for a MM and 1 inch BL to run the 33 inch tires you posted about in an earlier thread. unless you want the 35 inch tires instead.
the BB is easy to install my 14 year old son did most of the work on ours.

Hmm, $300,...
Either skids or a lunchbox locker, either end, your choice. |
