2 months ago, 34,650 miles and $16,960 with a free one year unlimited mileage Chrysler everything covered warranty. It was a buy back vehicle, so they tossed in the warranty. Blue book was about $23,000 or so.

Unfortunately I live in Alaska, and we can only dream of paying MSRP. All the damn vehicles are high priced up here. I used to be a sales training manager for the Jeep dealership and we were selling Jeep Grand Cherokees for about 42-44K, and that wasn't even the 5.9L

Bought mine brand new and it has EVERY OPTION even a cool Sound Bar across the back... Anyway it was about $39K out the door with taxes... Added an extended warrantee and then it was 40K out the door... 32000 Miles Later it has NEVER been back to the dealer for ANYTHING... Not once!!!... Totally reliable in every way it still even has original battery!
Pulled out the original sticker List was $38,275 add options Trailer Tow Group IV $245 add Skid Plate/Tow Hooks $200 add Ca Emissions (No Thank You) $170, Destination $525 and you get $39,415 List... At the time California's economy was humming so it was hard to get the huge discounts... Today that might be a wildly different story!

Yeah, slope workers get paid pretty well. Plus we get an Alaska Permanent Fund dividend check every year just for being a resident. This year every resident recieved about $1600. Still, some things are just more expensive up here. Not all wages are higher though, the cost of living however is up there.

I got really lucky and found mine brand new...77 miles...$30K. I shopped the net for months, and finally in December of '98 found it about 100 miles north of Atlanta. Not a bad deal at all...and almost 4 years later I'm very happy with my buy even today.
