Default Where to mount a Cobra 29?

Hey fellas,
I know the subject of where to mount cb's has been talked about in great length. However, through all my searching, I could not find a cobra 29 or other cb of equivalent size that wasn't mounted up above. I am thinking of going back to my old mount that i had on the roll bars, but wanted to see any pics of it elsewhere. Specifically, does this cb fit on the quadratec mount which mounts next to the 4wd shifter? I wanted to mount it below my seat but I dont think I would be able to lean it forward, am I wrong? I am basically looking to mount it low and out of the way. Would also like to see how yu made your mount accros the roll bar? I used a long L track thing but am looking for something cleaner.. Thanks a lot guys in advance.

Try having a bit more patience than about 50 minutes.

My 29 is mounted on a piece of 3/4 alu. angle that stretches across the rollcage bars. It is high enough not to block my rear view and it is close by to reach. After running the wires in the v of the angle I covered the whole thing in 1 inch ID pipe insulation to dress it up some. Most people think it is part of the original cage.
